Role

  • You are responsible for the follow-up and coordination of construction and/or excavation work on site under the direction of the project manager.
  • You check the quality of the work: plans, specifications, execution methods, …..
  • You are responsible for following up the procedures for putting the planned works into service in collaboration with the project manager.
  • You ensure the daily follow-up of the safety rules (checking instructions, SCC aspects, work preparation, etc.).
  • You manage the planning when carrying out the works (intervention deadlines, coordination with internal and external factors, etc.).
  • You control the budget: checking the work carried out, monitoring the work under direction and according to the contracts, etc.
  • You manage the administrative tasks in the execution of the works (orders, reception of the equipment, welding books and execution as-built)

Profile

To succeed in this job, you will have :

  • A Bachelors degree in Electromechanics, Construction Engineering or another technical orientation
  • A first construction site experience is a plus
  • A very good knowledge of Dutch and a good knowledge of French both oral and written
  • Ability to work digitally and use a PC (Software, Applications)
  • Sense of initiative and organisational skills, problem-solving ability
  • Good communication skills and a dose of flexibility

  • You are responsible for the design and preparation of drawings of various projects
  • You report directly to the project manager and support him/her in drawing up tender dossiers
  • You draw up bills of quantities, estimates and specifications for infrastructure files
  • You work in a team with colleagues from other disciplines
  • You support the project leader during meetings with the client and other parties involved and prepare the reports of these meetings

  • You participate in the design of technical installations (electricity, HVAC, security, sanitary facilities, lifts, sprinklers, etc.) in buildings (administrative buildings, the care sector (residential care centres, assisted living facilities, hospitals), educational buildings, sports infrastructure, residential buildings, libraries, car parks, (semi-)industrial buildings, service centres, distribution, retail, etc.).
